The Partner Levels in the genua Partner Program

The signets are available to you in the partner portal and can be used by you for marketing purposes, e.g., for:

Classification Within the Three-Level Partner Program ⇒

  • Primary criterion for acceptance into the partner program is sales expectations/targets.

  • An additional criterion is the willingness to invest in increasing and expanding capacities and competencies on the basis of the training concept.

  • It is possible to advance from Pioneer to Specialist all the way to Expert.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Partner Program

Is the classification in the partner program for my company final or can it be changed? >

The partner level is defined once by genua at the start of the partnership and is recorded in Appendix 1. Thereafter, the partner level is reassessed annually by genua on the basis of the actually achieved sales and the current training state (Appendix 2).

When is it possible to advance to the next-higher partner level? >

The partner level is initially defined once by genua at the start of the partnership. Thereafter, the partner level is reassessed annually by genua on the basis of the actually achieved sales and the current training state. If there are positive changes here, it is possible to advance to the next-higher partner level.

Upon reaching the "Expert" partner level, do all present employees need to then be retrained to the "Expert" product training courses? >

Retraining is necessary if the minimum number of employees that are to be trained to the Expert level has not yet been reached (cf. Appendix 1b and 2). The Expert partner level does not take effect until the required number of product certifications and employee training courses have been completed.

What prerequisites do I need to satisfy for the partner program? >

You can find the prerequisites and framework conditions for the partner program in Appendix 1b of the partner contract. Listed there in addition to the commercial framework conditions are the certification and qualification conditions, the Sales, Services and Support area as well as marketing conditions. 

How long is the contract term of the partner contract? >

The contractual relationship begins with the signing of the contract by both parties and is concluded for a fixed term of twelve (12) months. Thereafter, the contractual relationships is extended indefinitely. At the end of the minimum term of twelve months, the contractual relationship can be terminated by both parties with three (3) months' notice to the end of a calendar year.

Are demo systems still available? >

For the Pioneer, Specialist and Expert partner levels, it is possible to procure NFR systems (not-for-resale). These are available to you indefinitely for demo purposes, e.g., for showrooms and labs. You obtain a complete system at the price of the replacement hardware incl. cost-free update service. Where available, we can make virtual software licenses incl. update service available to you at no charge. Please contact partner@genua.de if you need an NFR system.

For customer-specific projects, our testing pool remains available to you for a temporary period. You can apply for these via the partner portal using the "Test systems" form.

Can I apply for project protection as in the past? >

For the Pioneer, Specialist and Expert partner levels, project protection is still available. Project protection can be applied for via the partner portal.

What is a genua service partner and what rights and obligations do they have? >

A genua service partner is a partner who performs services on behalf of genua. To qualify for this, you must be classified in the Specialist or Expert partner level. The concrete framework conditions for a genua service partner are regulated separately and independently from your partner contract. If you are interested, please contact your partner manager or send an email to partner@genua.de.

Where can I find the valid conditions? >

The conditions for your respective partner status are in Appendix 1a of the partner contract. You can find the valid prices in the price list.

Do I lose my partner level and discount classes if a trained employee leaves the company? >

No, not immediately. If a trained employee departs or transfers from the company, a new employee is to be qualified within a period of 6 months. The partner level is reassessed annually by genua on the basis of the actually achieved sales and the current training state (see Appendix 2).

How is it determined whether my employees are trained in accordance with the partner level? >

The genua partner managers regularly check whether your employees have completed the training courses necessary for your partner level. Upon successful completion of a training course, trained employees receive a corresponding certificate as verification. Refer to the partner contract for the conditions on the necessary employee qualifications.

Where can I register for the training courses? >

All training courses can be found in the partner portal under "Trainings"
